Settings & RBAC / TenXshift

Settings & privileges

The settings and privileges module in TenXshift: enable modules and manage roles, policies, and identity.

Define what your team enables and what they can access.

What does Settings & RBAC offer?

Not every employee needs the same tools or privileges. The settings and privileges module brings together module enablement, roles, policies, and identity for each organisation in TenXshift.

RBAC (role-based access control) is foundational governance in organisation ERP. Settings & RBAC defines enabled modules and the roles matrix — distinct from segregation of duties (SoD), which is reviewed with the security module.

Who is it designed for? IT and system administrators.

Expected operational outcomes

What helps the team evaluate the module before full enablement.

  • Clearer control of what is enabled for the organisation
  • Roles that can be tested before production
  • Separating access (RBAC) from segregation of duties (SoD)

What do settings include?

Module enablement and management of roles, privileges, policies, and identity at organisation level inside the platform.

Does RBAC equal segregation of duties?

No. RBAC defines access by role. Segregation of duties addresses conflicting responsibilities; controls are reviewed with the security module.

Who is it designed for?

For IT and system administrators who prepare the roles matrix and test allowed and denied access.

Evaluation scenario

Prepare a short role matrix for employee, reviewer, and approver. Test allowed and denied access per role before rolling out the setup.

Suggested demo walkthrough
